    Pillowcase Project Update

I want to thank all in the guild that have been so dependable about working on our various pillowcase projects.  We have three nursing homes that we are supporting:  Ashton Parke, Bay Oaks, and Gulf Health Care Center.  Through October, we will have delivered 77 embroidered pillowcases to Ashton Parke, 58 to Bay Oaks, and 50 to Gulf Health Care.  We started with Ashton Parke in January, Bay Oaks in May, and Gulf Health Care in June.  Sara R delivers the embroidered pillowcases to Ashton Parke; I deliver to the other two nursing homes.  We do have a bag of finished pillowcases for both men and women.  I turn all children's- themed pillowcases over to Patsy F.

A special thank-you to our embroiderers:  Debbie K, Carolyn K, and Sherry M.  It wouldn't be a "done deal" without these special volunteers.  It would be great to have several more embroiderers to call on to share the load of the machine embroidery work.

Please remember that adult bibs are available to give to anyone you may know about needing them.  I carry them in my car, so please let me know of any needs in this area.
